Keyboard shortcuts
The reader is built around a small set of keys. The shortcuts work whenever the reader is focused; click anywhere on the reading area to focus it.
Playback
- Spacebar — pause and resume.
- Left arrow — skip back fifteen seconds.
- Right arrow — skip forward fifteen seconds.
Position
- Click any word — jump the voice to that word and continue from there.
Why so few
The reading surface is meant to feel like a book. A book has no shortcuts. The keys above are the ones that pay rent — they let you steer without taking your hand off the page.
